escape, painting on canvas 50x70cm

€3,689.00

about the painting:

many live in a busy world where almost every minute is scheduled. the children are woken up, the little ones is brought to day care, and some in kindergarten, the older ones in school.

when the family is back home after 8 hours, the food has to be on the table, clothes have to be washed, text messages and emails have to be answered, and the next morning it starts all over again. and something which for many is as peripheral as art, we have to deal with when we get time, - and do we then - get time?

but then it happens. on the way home from all the chores, the children see poster on masts around town that the circus has arrived, and for a while we can "escape" from the world and experience the clown, the artist and the wonderful world of the circus. that's what the picture is about. a few hours of life-giving distraction, and we're ready for another spin in the hamster wheel.
